Josh Guernsey, CCIM
Managing Partner, Co-Founder
As a co-founder and Managing Partner of Waypoint Real Estate, Josh provides comprehensive real estate brokerage development and consulting services in the Northern Colorado Community. His responsibilities include providing financial modeling and feasibility analysis for development projects, investment transactions, as well as tenant and landlord representation services. His role also includes strategic structuring of joint venture partnerships, procurement of debt equity capital and the pursuit of public/private partnerships.
Josh began his career with a regional commercial real estate firm based in Denver, Colorado, where his duties included providing market based studies, asset valuation and feasibility consulting to investors, developers, lenders and municipalities. Josh went on to work with ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities and world renowned real estate investment trust. While at ProLogis, Josh managed complex, institutional level transactions in the United States, Canada and Mexico as an acquisition, due diligence, disposition and financing analyst with a total deal volume that exceeded $3 billion. During his ten years as Partner at Brinkman Partners, Josh established a strong track record of successful investment, development and consulting projects while helping to build a multi-million-dollar company.
Josh is a Colorado Native that enjoys exploring what this great state has to offer with his family of five. He donates his time to multiple local charities including RamStrength, Colorado State University Everitt Real Estate Center and CHAMP. On weekends you can find him sipping on a craft beer at local brewery.
